We invite you to join us for the 2019 Home and History Tour. Guests will visit five unique homes as well as two historic buildings that are not residences and learn about the history and interesting stories behind these properties. The tour offers a rare opportunity to enter some of the La Grange area’s finest private homes and experience the architecture, design and collections that are treasured by families but rarely shared with the public. Advance ticket prices are $30 for Historical Society members and $40 for non-members. To receive your program guide and wristband, show your payment receipt at one of the check-in locations, which are at the Historical Society and Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Guests can then proceed through the tour in any order they choose. Be sure to stop by the Historical Society to hear a duet from the Salt Creek Chamber Orchestra perform.
Ticket prices increase by $5 on the day of the tour, and can be purchased at the Historical Society or the Emmanuel Episcopal Church.
Please note, the Home and History Tour will take place rain or shine. Refunds are not available. Participants much be at least 12 years of age. Photography, video recording, smoking, food and beverages are strictly prohibited in the homes. Homes are not wheelchair accessible.
