The June 12th tour being completely booked, we’ve added another tour on June 19th, Father’s Day.

This 90 minute walking tour heads south on La Grange Road thru the Commercial District to Cossitt Avenue. You will hear about the founding, development, and evolution of downtown La Grange.

We will meet and begin the tour at the La Grange Road Train Station (25 W. Burlington Road), and end at the La Grange Public Library (10 West Cossitt Avenue). This free tour, conducted by John Burns (LGAHS member) is family friendly, but limited to 20 participants. Six (6) or more participants are required for the tour to be given.
